I’m a little offended that you’ve been outed as an underground secret society… now what the heck will I do with all these t-shirts I had made up?
Seriously. Good content. It’s up to us and all we have to do is make it happen. As that character Eben says: “Success at the speed of implementation!”

Continuity programs are all fine and dandy *IF* they’re done HONESTLY. Unfortunately I don’t believe this is the case.
Several months ago, I paid for a trial period for an offer to check it out. I decided I did not want to continue with it and canceled within 24 hours.
Within two weeks of my cancellation, I got hit for a $47 membership fee for a continuity program that I had no idea was involved. Yes, I read the terms and conditions, twice, and didn’t find any mention of it until a fifth reading a month and a half after they hit me with the $47 charge. So I cannot help but conclude that the information about their continuity program was NOT in their terms when I first read them.
Since then, I have spent the last several months fighting with them via paypal to get this thing stopped.
I have also spent a good deal of time looking very closely at a large number of offers out there and I find that MOST of them have these hidden continuity programs and that most of the time the details are buried in a terms of service page that is written in legalese and using font and color combinations that make it extremely difficult to read.
I realize that you make money hand over fist and $47 isn’t even pocket change to a guy like you, but it’s bloody important to us “little guys” that are trying to get something going on the thinnest of shoestrings.
So when you teach continuity, I suggest that you impart the extreme importance of making that continuity ultra obvious on the very first page that the would be customer lands on. It should NEVER be buried in hard to find and even harder to read terms and conditions pages.
Sneaky, underhanded tactics like that are one of the things that make me so incredibly distrustful of ALL marketers regardless of what they’re selling because I’ve learned the hard way that most of them are out to rob people blind in pursuit of the almighty dollar.
There’s a special place in hell for people like that and it’s going to be even more crowded than the section for politicians!
Jeff Johnson: I clearly state my continuity terms and fees on the sales page right next to the “add to cart” button, and once again in the shopping cart before they enter their card info.
I personally feel that continuity should be disclosed and don’t know why anyone would hide it, but they do.
However, contiuty is a great business model and people should always consider it as part of their business.
Just don’t hide it.

Some good info. but alot of it seems to apply to the make money/IM niches. What about for people who aren’t interested in these niches? And I like the idea of ‘continuity’ but there aren’t that many programs out there in places like CB that offer it.
So can this info. be applied for affiliates targeting niches outside the make money/IM niches? Also, you seem to like “product launches,” what about affiliate products that have been around for a year or more outside the make money/IM niches—would this info. work for affiliates promoting products outside these 2 niches?
Jeff Johnson: This specific video targets the IM market and product launches, that’s the whole focus of the presentation; the idea was to teach people who to “just get started and do something”, and this is an easy answer.
It does not, however, just apply to “make money” niches… I’ve seen launches in the forex, band instrument, horses, real estate, dating, and many, many other non-IM and/or “make money” niches.
And continuity was invented in non IM/ make money niches…. book of the month, record clubs, software licensing, financial services, etc.
This technique would work for any niche with a launch.
As for products that have been around a long time…. if the product is being actively searched for then you can indeed build a blog, a list, and work on promoting the product for free traffic, or even PPC.
I make thousands every single month promoting products that have been around a long time, and are not have launches.
This video, however, was specifically addressing the “get in front of a launch and start making money” clients that were attending the seminar.

Sounds strategy that I used with a lot of success. Unfortunately, my two power seo blogs have been hacked. a dumb mistake from me. But I’m coming back.
