Does anyone have any experience with a WP blog hosted by Network Solutions. It’s tough not having the c-panel to work from

Hi, I use GoDaddy.com for hosting. After struggling all evening to resolve errors, I think now I have the php5.ini file ok. However, just got the following error. Could anyone help me?

I had bluehost install this for me and here is the error I keep getting.
Site error: the file /home1/acnesecr/public_html/officialclepstudyguides/wp-content/plugins/seo-blog/core.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.
What should I do?
Jeff Johnson says: Bluehost made some changes recently to their php software that is causing some issues.
Have them fix the ioncube issue as detailed in the training material

What if I wasn’t smart enough to do what poster #23 did and rename the php.ini.default. I simply followed the intructions you gave us only to discover after the act that there was an issue with Bluehost. Has the now renamed file (php.ini) been changed? What do I do now?
I would just reapply the Ioncube settings again to the php.ini as outlined in the tutorial and then make sure to rename the php.ini.default to php.ini.
It may help to contact Bluehost for more assistance, if they’re still having issues. It’s a relatively easy fix for Bluehost.

Jeff Johnson says: Just create keyword rich content and post it to the blog to attract the search engines… the blog and the software do everything else.

Why does this require the ION Cube Loader? What needs to be encrypted?
I have a hard time understanding Free Software with encrypted files. It tells me there is something going on that shouldn’t be.
I am interested in trying this Plugin, but would like to know the real deal before I do.
Thanks.
Mike
Jeff Johnson: It is encrypted to protect my intellectual property, that’s all.
I spend tens of thousands developing my free software, maintaining it, and giving away free content for my visitors.
Nothing funny going on, just protecting my work.

I use BlueHost. Before renaming “php.ini.default” file I first renamed the already present “php.ini” file to “php.ini.orig” just to save it in case I needed to reverse. Then renamed “php.ini.default” to “php.ini”. Tried activating plugin and it worked fine. Thanks.

Hi
Sometimes you have to copy php.ini into all the directories that use ioncube loader, I just copied into all folders and it works as for blue host this works too.

GOT IT BABY – – – Persistence & Determination prevails!
Activated – now my only question is how I can use that path that’s used in the php5.ini for multiple blogs? will it work, etc? Or have to put the absolute path in the php5.ini for every blog I install it in?
Yes, you can use a single php.ini file for all blogs on your web host, just make sure your web host supports this feature.
